From Feigen's Blog on Chron

Rick Adelman mentioned the obvious names and praised their play. You can easily fill in the blanks.

The key, he said, was someone else.

Take a guess. Don't skip down a paragraph. If you saw the game, the highlights, the box score, the game story or the notes, take a guess.

Nope.

It's Chuck Hayes.

"The biggest guy was Chuck," Adelman said. "I put Chuck in the game in the third quarter to guard Bosh and he's our best defender, not only guarding Bosh, but suddenly the pick-and-rolls were not going so easily for them. He's such a tough guy for us, when we don't have him in the game, our defense isn't half as good."

Bosh had 13 points in 16 minutes when Hayes came in the game. In the nine minutes they shared the floor, Bosh did not score.

In Hayes' 10 minutes on the court, the Raptors made 7 of 23 shots (30.4 percent.) The rest of the game, they made 38 of 67 (56.7 percent).

RESPECT THE WAGON!!!!! I love this man. And I love that other people are starting to love him. It has been long overdue. Keep doing what you do, Chuck.

I Predict the Noles Don't Lose This Weekend

Pretty cool picture of BJ Ward from a couple years ago in the Orange Bowl. Anyway, I am making a bold prediction and saying the Noles will not lose this weekend! You heard it here first.

The Dos is Back

All Loyal Followers of The Chuck Wagon-

Sorry I have been gone for a few days. Don't worry. I haven't gone anywhere. I wanted to post this article from Fanhouse.com that previews this year's ball club. I actually thought it was pretty good. So if you are interested: http://nba.fanhouse.com/2009/10/13/fanhouse-preview-rockets/#cont. Hope all is well for all Wagoners and I look forward to talking to you soon. It is a beautiful thing not having the stress hanging over all week cause by an upcoming Nole game. Thankfully this weekend is Nole free. We take the field again a week from tomorrow in Chappel Hill. UNC is going down. Until next time,
